At Curated Home Designs, we love creating spaces that feel both deeply personal and undeniably luxurious. This Moroccan-influenced powder room is a perfect example of how we blend heritage, bold design choices, and functionality into a cohesive look.

The true soul of the design honors the homeowner’s father’s heritage. A patterned wallpaper with global flair brings pattern, movement, and a sense of culture into the space. The intricate design not only draws the eye but also tells a story, making the powder room far more than just a utilitarian space; it becomes an experience.

We broke up the busy pattern with custom millwork, designed to add architectural interest and elevate the character of the small room. Every detail was carefully considered, from the trim work to the crown molding, which, along with the ceiling, was painted in bold black caviar. This dramatic shade provides the perfect backdrop for a moody, sophisticated atmosphere, proving that powder rooms can be the ideal place to experiment with daring design.

Lighting plays a key role in any interior, especially in smaller spaces. We selected a copper drum light fixture that casts a warm, ambient glow, reinforcing the moody vibe while complementing the dark millwork. The metallic finish also introduces a touch of shine, adding dimension and balance to the room’s darker elements.
